No Deafblind person should be without the support they need to follow their dreams.
Deafblind Scotland enables deafblind people to live as rightful members of their communities. We are an award-winning national charity and principal authority on meeting the complex needs of individuals with acquired deafblindness. We raise aspirations/expand the lives of Deafblind people, some of the least visible and isolated members of society.
Deafblind Scotland’s future depends upon the continued generosity of donors. Bequest gifts they help us predict our future and strengthen our many exciting programmes. At the heart of our successful capital campaign to build our very own ‘Field of Dreams’ a purpose-built Learning and Development Centre was a gift in Will from Mr Neasham. Our Centre was officially opened by HRH Princess Anne in 2017 in 1 Neasham Drive.
There are 31,000+ people living in Scotland with a dual sensory impairment and many with other long-term conditions. Our ambitious new 5-year strategy ‘Dare to Dream’, will make it possible for deafblind people to aspire to a better future and will ensure policy makers, services and the public understand that deafblind people will only be able to lead a fulfilled and connected life if access to communication and guiding support is available for all who need it.
Whether you leave a large or small gift in your Will, please know it will help us to reach some of the least visible members of society. You will have left a lasting legacy that has helped to change the lives of isolated deafblind people enabling them to dare to dream.
