Deafblind Scotland provides a much loved and valued service for the community. People who are Deafblind (or severely dual sensory impaired) have substantial visual and hearing loss which causes extreme difficulty with communication, information and mobility. Deafblindness can lead to extreme levels of loneliness, boredom, stress, depression and withdrawal.
Deafblind Scotland is an award-winning national charity and Scotland’s principal authority on meeting the complex needs of individuals with acquired deafblindness. Our services include communication access advice, navigating self-directed support, information/formatting services, welfare rights support, accredited training, wellbeing activities, skills development and a specialist guide/communicator service.
We need your help so we can continue to offer and even expand our service. You’ve got to be in it to win it, so sign up here now, https://www.glasgowlottery.scot/support/deafblind-scotland
