Deafblind Scotland’s Learning and Development Centre ‘Field of Dreams’ – a first of its kind in Scotland.
With advanced technology designed to help people who have lost both sight and hearing, the Centre is acoustically neutral with sound and light absorbing surfaces. The space includes an activity room, IT suite, library, board/training room, cafe area and a recording studio, all of which allows Deafblind Scotland members to keep in touch with the rest of the world.
As a National charity with a local presence Deafblind Scotland are happy to encourage and share use of our new Learning and Development Centre with other local charities. This use is extended on a charitable basis where there will be no charges levied. There will be an expectation of ‘Quid pro Quo’ that is sharing of skills, donations in kind etc.
We would be delighted to welcome community groups, charities, businesses to come and use the facilities and book various rooms for functions and meetings. The rooms available are:
