North and South Lanarkshire Councils have contracted the University of the West of Scotland to undertake independent research into the needs of people with sensory impairments as part of the See Hear Strategy – a strategic framework for meeting the needs of people with a sensory impairment in Scotland.
The research aims to explore the provision of assessment and care and support of people living in Lanarkshire who have varying degrees of hearing loss, sight loss and also loss of both. Once the research is complete the findings will be used to identify priority areas for service development regarding the ‘See Hear Framework’.
The following short survey aims to assess and understand the health and wellbeing experienced by people living with sensory impairment. If you would like to contribute to this work then please complete the survey by clicking on the link.
